Impress guests with advance-prepped mini chicken sliders for your appetizer spread!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups deli chicken salad
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a 2-quart saucepan, bring water and butter to a rolling boil. Add flour and thyme, then reduce heat to low. Stir vigorously for about 1 minute until a ball forms; then remove from heat. Gradually beat in eggs one at a time until smooth after each addition.
  • Spoon rounded measuring tablespoonfuls of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until beautifully puffed and golden brown. Let cool on the cookie sheet for about 30 minutes away from any drafts.
  • Cut off the top third of each puff and remove any soft dough filaments. Fill each puff with a generous tablespoon of chicken salad.
