Easy herb and garlic baked chicken seasoned with tomato, basil, and red pepper flakes. Simply delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley, divided
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil, divided
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) while generously coating a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Evenly spread 1 teaspoon of parsley and 1 teaspoon of basil on the bottom of the baking dish. Place chicken breast halves in the dish and distribute garlic slices evenly. In a separate small bowl, combine the remaining 2 teaspoons of parsley, 2 teaspoons of basil, salt, and red pepper, then sprinkle over the chicken. Top with tomato slices.
  • Bake the dish covered in a preheated oven for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until chicken juices run clear.
