Savory ground beef chili with tender potato cubes, kidney beans, and tomatoes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 potatoes, cubed
  • 2 cups water, or as needed
  • 2 cups tomato puree
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans
  • 2.5 tablespoons chili powder
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, cook beef and onion until onion is almost tender, about 5 minutes. Remove excess grease.
  • Mix together the potatoes, water, tomato purée, beans, chili powder, and salt in a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer until the potatoes are tender, around 30 minutes. Add additional water if preferred for a thinner chili.
