Enhance tofu and soba noodle stir-fry with toasted sesame seeds for extra flair.
Ingredients:
  • 300g firm tofu, cut into 2cm pieces
  • 20.00 ml sriracha or chilli sauce
  • 80ml soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 270g soba noodles
  • 18.40 gm vegetable oil
  • 1 brown onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch baby broccoli, halved lengthways
  • 200g green beans, halved
  • 1 long red chilli, thinly sliced (optional)
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix together tofu, sriracha or chili sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil for a flavorful blend.
  • Boil soba noodles in a large saucepan for 4 minutes or until tender. Drain thoroughly.
  • 1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Drain tofu, saving the marinade. Cook the tofu in 2 batches until golden, about 2 mins per batch. Transfer to a bowl. Add onion to the wok or pan and stir-fry for 3 mins until tender. Add baby broccoli and beans and stir-fry for 2 mins until tender.
  • Add the tofu back to the wok or pan along with the noodles and reserved marinade. Stir-fry until everything is heated through. Serve in bowls and top with chili, if desired.
