Chocaroon Cake

Indulge in a decadent chocolate cake with a surprise macaroon center, topped with a drizzle of melted chocolate or a sprinkle of confectioners' sugar.
Ingredients:
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 1.75 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1.25 cups water
  • 0.33333334326744 cup vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Whisk egg white with salt until foamy, then gradually incorporate sugar until stiff shiny peaks form. Gently mix in flour and coconut.
  • In a large bowl, mix cake mix, instant pudding mix, eggs, yolks, water, and oil until well combined. Use an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour 1/3 of the batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan. Add coconut mixture, and top with remaining batter.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50-55 minutes until golden brown. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
