Chocolate Ganache S'mores

Elevated s'mores tart: Graham cracker crust, rich dark chocolate ganache, and toasted marshmallows for a decadent twist on a classic favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 14 whole graham crackers, crushed
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 9 ounces bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon dark rum
  • 1 (10 ounce) package large marshmallows
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, blend graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon until evenly moistened. Firmly press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven until the crust is lightly browned and fragrant, approximately 5 minutes.
  • Combine chocolate and hot cream to create a smooth mixture. Add optional rum if desired, then pour the mixture over the graham cracker layer.
  • Preheat the broiler in the oven and position the rack 6 inches away from the heat source.
  • Cover the chocolate with a single layer of marshmallows. Broil until the marshmallows are lightly toasted for about 1 minute. Chill until the chocolate sets for around 45 minutes. Slice into bars using a non-stick cooking spray-coated pizza cutter.
