Easy Kahlua cake made with devil's food and pudding mix, Kahlua, and orange zest. Sprinkle with powdered sugar for an elegant finish.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray with flour
  • 1 (16.5 ounce) package devil's food cake mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup coffee-flavored liqueur (such as Kahlua®)
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 tablespoons grated orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 (12 ounce) package mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a fluted tube pan, such as a Bundt, with cooking spray dusted with flour.
  • In a large bowl, mix cake mix, sour cream, eggs, coffee-flavored liqueur, oil, pudding mix, orange zest, and cinnamon with an electric mixer on medium speed for about 4 minutes until very smooth. Fold in chocolate chips, then pour batter into the Bundt pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Take the cake out of the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, gently flip the cake onto a plate, release it from the pan, and let it cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle confectioners' sugar generously before serving.
