Indulgent chocolate meringue cookies with rich cocoa powder and semisweet chips for double the chocolaty goodness.
Ingredients:
  • 3 egg whites
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.125 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 0.66670000553131 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.33329999446869 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a glass, metal, or ceramic bowl, whip egg whites, vanilla, and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar and keep beating until stiff peaks form and the mixture turns glossy. Gently fold in cocoa powder and chocolate chips. Spoon teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto the cookie sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, then allow it to cool to room temperature.
