Chocolate-Strawberry Crumble

Create a quick and easy warm fruit dessert with just five ingredients in 15 minutes. Delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cans (21 oz each) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 box (10 oz) frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 2/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • Vanilla ice cream, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Combine pie filling and strawberries in an ungreased 13x9-inch pan, stirring gently to mix.
  • Using an electric mixer on low speed, combine the cake mix and butter in a large bowl until mixture is crumbly, which should take about 1 to 2 minutes. Sprinkle this mixture over the fruit, then top it with walnuts.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until bubbling around the edges and set on top. Let cool for at least 30 minutes before serving warm with a scoop of ice cream. Store leftovers loosely covered.
