Juicy burgers with ground beef, lamb, onions, and secret seasonings for a flavorful twist on a classic favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 0.5 cup finely diced onion
  • 2 pounds ground beef chuck
  • 0.5 pound ground lamb
  • 5 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onion until almost translucent, around 4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
  • Combine the beef chuck, lamb, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Shape the mixture into 5 large burgers, pressing a thumb indentation in the center of each. Chill the patties for 4 to 8 hours, then let them come to room temperature before cooking.
  • Preheat your outdoor grill on high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Grill the burgers over high heat until they have grill marks and are cooked through, approximately 5 minutes on each side. Avoid pressing the burgers with a spatula while cooking and only flip them once. Allow the burgers to rest for 1 minute before serving.
