Christmas pudding spoons

Festive Christmas pudding canapés with custard, perfect for parties or big buffets. Requires 30 spoons.
Ingredients:
  • 142 ml double cream
  • 2 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 250 g custard warmed
  • 450 g Christmas pudding heated
  • 1 handful flaked almonds toasted and chopped, to decorate
  • 1 orange zest of
Instructions:
  • Whip the double cream and caster sugar until stiff peaks form. Spoon a small amount of custard onto each serving spoon. Using a different spoon, scoop out portions of the hot Christmas pudding and place them on top of the custard. Top each spoon with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with almonds and grated orange zest. Serve the spoons immediately while warm.
