Indulgent mac and cheese loaded with creamy cottage cheese, sharp Cheddar, and zesty Parmesan, finished with a crispy buttery breadcrumb topping. Rich and irresistible.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (12 ounce) container small curd cottage cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • 1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add elbow macaroni and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain.
  • Combine bread crumbs and melted butter in a small bowl.
  • Combine the drained macaroni with cottage cheese, Cheddar, sour cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper in the baking dish. Stir until thoroughly mixed, then sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the top is beautifully golden brown, for about 30 to 35 minutes.
