Velvety cheddar cheese soup with hearty vegetables and savory ham chunks.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups peeled and diced potatoes
  • 0.5 cup diced carrots
  • 0.5 cup chopped celery
  • 0.25 cup chopped onions
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup cooked ham, cubed
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Combine water, potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, salt, and pepper in a sizable saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat for 30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  • Incorporate the ham into the vegetable medley.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter and mix in flour until smooth. Gradually pour in the milk and bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes until thickened. Stir in Cheddar cheese until melted.
  • Combine the melted cheese mixture with the vegetable mixture, then enjoy your delicious dish!
