Indulge in chocolate banana pancakes for a mouthwatering breakfast.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 cup skim milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large banana, diced
  • 0.5 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup chopped pecans
  • cooking spray
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. In another bowl, whisk together skim milk, melted butter, eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Create a well in the dry ingredients, pour in the wet mixture, and stir gently until just combined. Fold in the banana, chocolate chips, and nuts.
  • Preheat a spacious skillet over medium heat and spray it with cooking spray. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet and cook until bubbles form on the surface. Use a spatula to flip and continue cooking until golden brown on the other side.
