Spiced crumble-topped lemon blueberry bread: a delightful, simple summer treat.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Combine sugar, flour, butter, lemon zest, and cinnamon in a small bowl until well blended.
  • In a separate bowl, mix sugar, milk, butter, and egg until well blended. Combine flour and baking powder; stir into the wet mixture. Gently fold in blueberries and lemon zest. Pour batter into the greased loaf pan and sprinkle with the topping before baking.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
