Quick and easy yellow rice with fragrant turmeric, garlic, and dried onion for delicious results.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 0.25 cup dried minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your beautiful ingredients.
  • Simply bring water to a boil, then combine rice, onion, olive oil, turmeric, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt in the saucepan. Cover, lower the heat, and let simmer for 20 minutes until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
  • Gently separate the rice grains with a fork before serving.
