Cheesy holiday cheese ball with Cheddar, Monterey Jack, cream cheese, pimentos, and hot sauce for a flavorful and effortless appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup pecans
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 small dill pickle, minced
  • 0.5 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 (4 ounce) jar pimientos, drained and diced
  • Fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil
  • Crackers
  • Vegetables such as radishes, celery, or carrots
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil. Toast pecans on the lined sheet in the oven for 7-10 minutes until fragrant. Let cool completely, then roughly chop and return to the baking sheet.
  • In a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, combine cream cheese, garlic, pickle, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack, pimentos, black pepper, hot sauce, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Mix on medium speed for 1 minute. Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 2 hours or up to 3 days.
  • Shape the chilled mixture into a smooth ball using your hands, then coat the ball with the toasted chopped pecans. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
  • Present on a platter alongside an assortment of crackers and fresh vegetables such as carrots, celery, and radishes.
