Kid-friendly clown cookies - fun and easy party treat!
Ingredients:
  • 32 yellow M&M’s Mini
  • 95.00 gm dark chocolate melts, melted
  • 4 rainbow sour straps
  • 16 Arnott’s Milk Arrowroot Biscuits
  • 225.00 gm pure icing sugar
  • 15.00 gm boiling water
  • 2.20 gm vanilla essence
  • 16 red M&M’s Mini
  • 250.00 ml multi-coloured popcorn
  • 32cm piece red licorice strands, cut into 2cm pieces
  • Red candy bowties, to decorate
Instructions:
  • On a sheet of parchment paper, arrange yellow M&M’s. Fill a resealable bag with melted chocolate, snip a corner, and carefully draw crosses on the M&M’s to create eyes, using the picture as a reference.
  • Cut sour straps into quarters crossways, then diagonally into triangles.
  • Prepare a large baking tray with baking paper. Arrange biscuits on the tray. In a bowl, sift icing sugar, then mix in boiling water and vanilla essence until smooth.
  • 1. Spread the biscuits with icing. Use the picture as a guide and press sour strap triangles onto one short end of the biscuits to create hats. Quickly attach 2 yellow M&M’s for eyes and 1 red M&M for the nose. Press popcorn on either side of the eyes to create hair.
  • Create cute smiley faces by arranging red licorice under the noses of the biscuits to form mouths. Then, gently press the bowties onto the biscuits below the mouths. Allow them to stand for 1 hour or until set, then serve with a smile!
