Create a delicious cola-infused pot roast using convenient pantry staples like onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and brown gravy mix.
Ingredients:
  • 4 pounds beef sirloin roast
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.5 (.75 ounce) packet dry brown gravy mix
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 10 fluid ounces cola-flavored carbonated beverage
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) to ensure the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Place the meat in a roasting pan and sprinkle the carrots, celery, and minced garlic around the roast.
  • In a small bowl, mix brown gravy mix with water until smooth. Stir in onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and cola. Pour over the roast.
  • Bake covered for 1 hour in the preheated oven.
  • Lower the oven temperature to 225 degrees F (110 degrees C) and let it cook for 2 hours. Take it out of the oven, flip the roast to coat the top with gravy, cover the pan, and bake for at least 2 more hours.
  • Allow the meat to rest for 10 minutes after removing it from the oven before slicing.
