Homemade cranberry relish with Grand Marnier, orange zest, and toasted pecans: a game changer that beats canned sauce any day!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 0.25 cup brandy-based orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier®)
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 4 cups fresh cranberries
  • 0.5 cup chopped toasted pecans
Instructions:
  • Combine sugar, orange liqueur, fresh orange juice, ginger, and fragrant orange zest in a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar completely dissolves.
  • Toss in cranberries and cook until they burst, around 5 minutes. Mix in pecans, transfer to a bowl, and chill for a few hours until cold.
