Juicy chicken breasts stuffed with creamy mushroom and cheese mix, rolled in brown sugar, mustard, and nuts, then baked to perfection. Deliciously indulgent!
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté mushrooms until tender. Lower heat, then stir in cream cheese until melted. Remove from heat.
  • Flatten chicken breasts with a meat mallet until thin. Spread mushroom mixture on top and roll up tightly.
  • Combine brown sugar and Dijon mustard in a small bowl. Coat chicken with mustard mixture and then roll in chopped walnuts before arranging in a baking dish.
  • Place in the oven that is already heated to 350°F and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear.
