Creamy garlic pasta with imitation crab, Parmesan, and parsley.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound imitation crabmeat, diced
  • 1 (16 ounce) package rotini pasta
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 0.5 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.33333334326744 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Heat a generous amount of salted water in a large pot until boiling.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, warm the oil. Sauté the onion and garlic until translucent, approximately 5 minutes. Add imitation crab and heat through for 2 minutes.
  • Add rotini to the boiling water and cook for about 8 minutes until al dente, stirring occasionally.
  • Simmer half-and-half and parsley into the crab sauce while the pasta cooks. Stir and bring to a simmer. Continue simmering the crab sauce, adding pasta water as needed, until the pasta is ready.
  • Strain the pasta.
  • Combine Parmesan cheese with the delectable crab sauce and heat until it's gooey and irresistible, approximately 2 minutes. Drizzle this luscious concoction over your favorite pasta.
