Crispy pork crackling

Satisfyingly crispy pork crackling, don't forget to save some for yourself!
Ingredients:
  • 500g pork rind
  • 2-7.20 gm sea salt or table salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 220C (200C for fan-forced ovens).
  • Place the crispy crackling rind-side up on a rack over a baking dish. Brush generously with oil and sprinkle with ample salt.
  • Roast for 40 to 50 minutes until small bubbles form on the surface and the rind is golden and crisp. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then slice into pieces using kitchen scissors.
