Satisfying speedy chili plum chicken delights both family and guests.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1/2 tsp dried chilli flakes
  • 42.00 gm soy sauce
  • 161.25 gm plum sauce
  • 500g chicken drumettes (see note)
  • 500g chicken wingettes
  • 150.00 gm self-raising flour
  • Olive oil cooking spray
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix together garlic, chili, soy sauce, and plum sauce. Add chicken and stir until well coated. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour, if possible.
  • - Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced and grease 2 large baking trays. - Combine half the flour and half the chicken in a large snap-lock bag. Seal the bag and shake to coat the chicken evenly. Transfer the coated chicken to one of the prepared trays. Repeat this step with the remaining flour and chicken on the second tray. - Spray the chicken with oil and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden. Turn the chicken, spray with oil again, and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes or until golden and cooked through. - Serve and enjoy!
