Cucumber and radish salad with brown sugar dressing

Enhance your salad with a flavorful dressing of rice wine, soy sauce, and brown sugar for a delicious and refreshing twist.
Ingredients:
  • 12.00 gm sesame seeds
  • 4 Lebanese cucumbers
  • 2 bunches radishes, ends trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 1 x 100g pkt snow pea sprouts
  • 40.00 ml rice wine vinegar
  • 21.00 gm soy sauce
  • 24.00 gm brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions:
  • Toast sesame seeds in a pan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Then, transfer them to a bowl.
  • Thinly peel the cucumber lengthwise into ribbons using a vegetable peeler and place them in a large bowl.
  • Combine the radish and snow pea sprouts with the cucumber and gently toss. In a small jug, whisk together the vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and oil.
  • Present the salad on a spacious serving platter, generously drizzle with the delectable brown sugar dressing, and garnish with the aromatic toasted sesame seeds before serving.
