Delicious pear almond tarts - perfect for tea or Prosecco pairing.
Ingredients:
  • 18 (3 inch) unbaked tart shells
  • 7 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon pear-flavored white balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 large ripe d'Anjou pears - peeled, cored, and diced
  • 3 tablespoons chopped almonds
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and pop those tart shells on a baking sheet.
  • Combine brown sugar, melted butter, balsamic vinegar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add pears and chopped almonds, stirring until fully coated. Transfer the pear mixture into tart shells.
  • Bake until golden for about 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
