Dad's cheesy potatoes

Stunning and delicious hassle-free potatoes.
Ingredients:
  • 20.00 gm butter
  • 18.40 gm oil
  • 3 large Sebago potatoes, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 375.00 ml grated tasty cheese
Instructions:
  • In a 26cm non-stick frying pan, sizzle butter and oil over medium-high heat. Remove from heat once hot. Layer half of the potatoes in the pan, slightly overlapping, to create 2 layers.
  • Top the potatoes with a generous amount of cheese and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Place the frying pan back on the stove over low heat and cover it with a lid or foil. Allow the potatoes to cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they are tender.
  • Uncover and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Flip onto a serving plate, slice into wedges, and enjoy!
