Dairy-free classic macaroni cheese

Velvety, dairy-free mac and cheese for ultimate comfort.
Ingredients:
  • 400g dried macaroni pasta
  • 50g dairy-free butter
  • 40.00 ml plain flour
  • 500ml soy milk
  • 250g (2 cups) dairy-free cheese
  • Chopped parsley, to serve
Instructions:
  • Prepare the macaroni in a large pot of boiling water according to the instructions on the package until it's cooked just right.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and mix in the flour. Stir for 1 minute. Slowly pour in the milk, stirring until smooth. Bring to a gentle boil, then simmer on low for 2 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and mix in grated cheese until smooth.
  • After cooking, gently drain the pasta and transfer it back to the pan. Then, generously pour the luscious cheese sauce over the pasta, ensuring each strand is fully coated. Sprinkle with parsley for that final touch of freshness before serving immediately.
