Transform your sandwich with succulent BBQ chicken, crispy bacon, creamy avocado, and melted cheese. Perfect for a satisfying lunch or pair with salad or fries for a delectable dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tablespoons barbeque sauce
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 hoagie rolls, split lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons Ranch dressing
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 small avocado - peeled, pitted and diced
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while you prepare the chicken. Use cooking spray to coat a baking dish. Brush both sides of each chicken breast with BBQ sauce and lay them in the dish. Finish by topping each breast with 2 slices of bacon.
  • Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25 minutes until the juices run clear. While the chicken is baking, drain the bacon strips on paper towels and then slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise.
  • Preheat the broiler in the oven. Spread Ranch dressing on both sides of each hoagie roll. Put 2 chicken breast halves on one side of each roll. Lay 2 strips of bacon on the other side of each roll. Finish by topping each half with a slice of Swiss cheese.
  • Place the sandwich halves on the baking sheet and broil for 2 to 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Top the chicken halves of the sandwiches with avocado slices and bacon halves before serving.
