Tender pork chops with zesty Italian tomato-pepperoni sauce, topped with crunchy cashews and fresh basil for a delightful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 boneless pork chops
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 onion, cut into chunks
  • 0.5 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 sprig fresh basil for garnish
  • 0.33333331346512 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup white wine
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pinch dried thyme
  • 1 pinch dried parsley
  • 0.5 cup chopped pepperoni
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 0.33333334326744 cup cashews
Instructions:
  • In a sizzling wok, sear the pork chops in hot oil until beautifully golden. Let them rest.
  • Combine garlic, onion, and green pepper in the wok and sauté until tender. Add chicken broth, wine, and tomato paste. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper. Heat through and then gently fold in the pepperoni.
  • Add the pork chops back to the wok and simmer covered for 15 minutes until the sauce thickens and the pork chops are cooked perfectly. Stir in the tomato and cashews, heat through. Serve the pork chops with the flavorful sauce, and top with fresh basil sprigs for a beautiful presentation.
