425°F Baked Lasagna with Pork Sausage, Spinach, and Three Cheeses: The Ultimate Deliciousness.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 3 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce, divided
  • 2 (16 ounce) containers ricotta cheese
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) package spinach, rinsed and chopped
Instructions:
  • Bring a big pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook the lasagna noodles until al dente, stirring occasionally, for about 8 minutes. Drain and place the noodles on a paper towel.
  • Brown and crumble sausage in a large skillet over medium heat for 7 to 10 minutes, then drain.
  • Combine 2 jars of spaghetti sauce with ricotta in a large bowl. In a separate medium bowl, blend Parmesan and mozzarella together.
  • Combine the sausage and spinach with the ricotta mixture, then mix in all of the Parmesan-mozzarella mixture except for 1 cup until fully incorporated.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce over the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Arrange 3 to 4 noodles side-by-side on the sauce, then layer another 3 to 4 noodles on top in a staggered pattern. Top with a generous layer of sausage-ricotta mixture.
  • Create two more layers by repeating the process. Place the leftover noodles on top of the lasagna, pour the remaining spaghetti sauce over them, and top with the reserved 1 cup Parmesan-mozzarella mixture.
  • Simply bake until beautifully golden brown, approximately 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
