Healing garlic soup with elephant garlic for flavor, served over toasted Parmesan bread.
Ingredients:
  • 1 large head elephant garlic
  • 5 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened, or to taste
  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
  • 1 pinch smoked paprika, or to taste
  • Himalayan sea salt to taste
  • 1 pinch lemon-pepper seasoning, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Peel and chop garlic, then combine with chicken broth in a saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil, cover with a lid, and let sit for 10 minutes off the heat.
  • Coat bread slices with butter and generously sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika. Toast in a toaster oven on medium setting (5 or 6) until perfectly crusty. Carefully slice toast into small cubes using a serrated knife.
  • Portion out the bread cubes evenly among 4 soup bowls. Season with a sprinkle of sea salt and lemon-pepper seasoning. Ladle the soup into each bowl, making sure to include garlic pieces. Stir well to combine everything, then serve immediately.
