Delilah's Wicked Twelve Alarm Chili

Spicy 12-pepper chili with beef, sausage, and three types of beans.
Ingredients:
1 (20 ounce) cankidney beans, undrained
2 (15 ounce) canschili beans, undrained
2 (14 ounce) cansblack beans, undrained
2 (15.5 ounce) cansblack-eyed peas, undrained
1 (28 ounce) candiced tomatoes, undrained
2pounds lean ground beef
1poundhot Italian sausage
2 large green bell peppers, chopped
1 large red bell pepper, chopped
6 small yellow onions, chopped
1red onion, chopped
6clovesgarlic, minced
1 (4 ounce) can sliced jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
1 (7 ounce) canchipotle chiles in adobo sauce, finely chopped
6serrano peppers, finely chopped
4orange habanero chili peppers, finely chopped
1banana pepper, seeded and finely chopped
3cherry peppers, finely chopped
1Anaheim pepper, finely chopped
4red Thai chili peppers, finely chopped
4green Thai chili peppers, finely chopped
2tablespoons chili powder, or to taste
1.5 tablespoons ground cumin
3tablespoons red pepper flakes
0.33333334326744 envelope taco seasoning mix
cayenne pepper, or amount to taste
Instructions:
Combine kidney beans, chili beans, black beans, and black-eyed peas in a large heavy pot and simmer on medium heat.
Brown the ground beef and sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat until crumbly and evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain any excess fat and stir into the bean mixture.
Layer the red and green bell peppers, yellow and red onions, and garlic over the bean and meat mixture. Steam covered for a minimum of 10 minutes. Add the jalapeno, chipotle, serrano, habanero, banana, cherry and Anaheim peppers, red and green Thai chilies, chili powder, cumin, red pepper flakes, and taco seasoning. Season with cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Cover and simmer on medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 3 hours.
