Make these tasty cake pops for a fun and delicious treat!
Ingredients:
  • 340g pkt vanilla butter cake
  • 40.00 ml bought vanilla frosting
  • 125g m&m
  • 250g white chocolate melts
  • 125g 100 & 1000's
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180C and prepare a 20cm round cake pan by greasing and lining the base with baking paper.
  • Prepare the vanilla butter cake following the instructions on the packet. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Trim the cake crusts using a serrated knife, then break the cake into small pieces and place them in a food processor. Pulse until fine crumbs form. Transfer to a bowl and mix in the vanilla frosting and m&m’s minis until combined.
  • Prepare the oven tray by lining it with baking paper. Roll the cake mixture into tablespoon-sized balls and place them on the lined tray. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 1 hour until firm.
  • Melt the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Transfer the sprinkles to a separate small bowl.
  • Take a lollipop stick and dip one end in chocolate, then gently insert it into a cake ball. Place it back on the tray and continue with the rest of the cake balls.
  • Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Tap gently to remove any excess chocolate. Roll the cake ball in 100 & 1000’s to cover it completely. Place the cake pop in the polystyrene to stand upright. Repeat the process with the rest of the cake balls, chocolate, and 100 & 1000’s. Allow them to set for 30 minutes or until the chocolate is firm.
