Irresistibly flavorful homemade beef jerky marinade using soy sauce, liquid smoke, brown sugar, and spices creates the ultimate beef jerky experience.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon meat tenderizer
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 2 pounds beef round steak, cut into thin strips
Instructions:
  • Collect all of the ingredients needed for the recipe.
  • Make the marinade by mixing together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, brown sugar, salt, pepper, meat tenderizer, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a glass bowl.
  • In a 9x13-inch glass baking dish, lay down the beef strips and generously pour the marinade over them. Mix well until all the strips are coated. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight to marinate.
  • Take the beef strips out of the bowl and sandwich them between two sheets of plastic wrap, then gently pound them to a 1/8-inch thickness.
  • Lay out the beef strips evenly on the dehydrator trays. Dehydrate at the highest setting until the jerky reaches your desired level of doneness, a minimum of 4 hours.
  • Savor every delicious bite!
