Make delicious traditional crab cakes. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning™
  • 2 tablespoons biscuit baking mix
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 0.25 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pound crabmeat
  • 2 quarts vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
  • Combine Old Bay™ seasoning, baking mix, and parsley in a medium mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard, egg, and Worcestershire sauce to the dry ingredients. Gently fold in crab meat and shape mixture into 6 to 8 balls.
  • Heat a generous layer of oil in a spacious, sturdy skillet until it reaches 365 degrees F (185 degrees C). Carefully add the crab cake balls and gently press them down with a spatula. After 3 minutes, or once one side is nicely browned, flip the crab cakes. Fry until fully cooked, then transfer to paper towels to drain.
