Easy and fun cookie recipe using cookie mix and colorful jelly beans.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1 tablespoon Gold Medal™ All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • Food color
  • Jelly beans
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, flour, butter, and egg in a medium bowl until a dough forms.
  • Roll the dough into 24 balls that are 2 inches in size. Place them on ungreased cookie sheets, making sure to leave 1 inch of space between each ball.
  • Bake for 7 to 9 minutes until edges turn a light golden brown. Let cool for 1 minute, then transfer to a cooling rack. Allow to cool completely, approximately 15 minutes.
  • Enhance cookies with colorful coconut frosting. Combine coconut and 2 to 3 drops of food color in a 1-quart resealable plastic bag. Shake well to evenly blend the color, adding 1 to 2 teaspoons of water if needed. Adjust color by adding more drops until reaching the desired shade.
  • Sprinkle a generous amount of coconut over each cookie, then add colorful jelly beans on top.
