Easy Chicken Calzones

Delicious Easy Chicken Calzones - flaky pie crust packed with ricotta, chicken, cheese, and seasoning, ready in 1 hour.
Ingredients:
  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Classic Crust Pizza Crust
  • 1/4 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon herbes de Provence
  • 1 cup chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 cup shredded Italian cheese blend (4 oz)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven with baking stone to 425°F for 30 minutes.
  • Place the dough on a pizza peel dusted with cornmeal. Spread ricotta cheese evenly on the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Sprinkle herbs de Provence over the ricotta. Layer half of the dough with chicken, then top the chicken with the cheese blend.
  • Create a delicious pocket by folding the dough in half over the filling and sealing the edges firmly. Transfer the calzone onto a preheated baking stone.
  • Bake until beautifully golden, and let cool for 10 minutes before enjoying.
