Enjoy a light and nutritious meal with salmon quiche and a fresh garden salad.
Ingredients:
  • 250.00 ml plain flour
  • 125.00 ml natural cottage cheese
  • 125g butter, melted
  • 210g can red salmon, drained, deboned and flaked
  • 3 eggs
  • 189.38 gm cream
  • 125.00 ml grated tasty cheese
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix flour and cottage cheese. Add butter and stir with a knife until fully combined. Wrap the mixture in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Spread the dough evenly in a 23cm pie dish, making sure to cover both the base and sides. Top with a mixture of onion and salmon.
  • Combine eggs with rich cream, pour the mixture evenly over the succulent salmon, and generously sprinkle with grated cheese on top.
  • Preheat oven to 200°C and bake for 10 minutes. Lower the temperature to 180°C and continue baking for an additional 35 minutes, or until golden and set.
