Boost your immunity with a daily powerhouse drink of vegetable juice and echinacea tea to fight off cold and flu viruses.
Ingredients:
1echinacea tea bag
80ml (1/3 cup) boiling water
2 large carrots, peeled, topped
1red capsicum, halved, deseeded, thickly sliced
1lime, peeled
Ice cubes (optional), to serve
Instructions:
Place the tea bag in a small heatproof bowl and pour over boiling water. Let it sit for 10 minutes to infuse.
While waiting, juice the carrot, capsicum, and lime using a juice extractor and pour the mixture into a small jug. Squeeze out all the liquid from the tea bag, then pour the tea into the jug. Add the ice cubes, stir well, and distribute among glasses for serving.
