Boost your immunity with a daily powerhouse drink of vegetable juice and echinacea tea to fight off cold and flu viruses.
Ingredients:
  • 1 echinacea tea bag
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) boiling water
  • 2 large carrots, peeled, topped
  • 1 red capsicum, halved, deseeded, thickly sliced
  • 1 lime, peeled
  • Ice cubes (optional), to serve
Instructions:
  • Place the tea bag in a small heatproof bowl and pour over boiling water. Let it sit for 10 minutes to infuse.
  • While waiting, juice the carrot, capsicum, and lime using a juice extractor and pour the mixture into a small jug. Squeeze out all the liquid from the tea bag, then pour the tea into the jug. Add the ice cubes, stir well, and distribute among glasses for serving.
