Legendary East Carolina University tailgate wings - Sweet, tangy, and as spicy as you like! Perfect for wing lovers.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 cup minced fresh ginger root
  • 2 limes, quartered
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • 3 pounds chicken wings
Instructions:
  • In a gallon-sized sealable bag, mix water, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ginger, sugar, lime juice, lime zest, and red pepper. Seal the bag and shake well to coat everything. Add the chicken wings, seal the bag, and refrigerate for 24 to 48 hours.
  • Get the outdoor grill ready by preheating it to medium-low heat and giving the grate a light coating of oil.
  • Remove the marinade from the wings and dispose of it. Grill the wings over heat, turning occasionally, until juices run clear, for 25 to 30 minutes.
