Classic egg custard pie with hints of nutmeg and vanilla.
Ingredients:
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a piping hot 475 degrees F (245 degrees C).
  • Combine eggs and sugar in a large bowl, beat until smooth. Mix in vanilla, salt, and nutmeg. Stir in milk and pour mixture into crust.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at a higher temperature for 10 minutes. Then, lower the temperature and continue baking until the crust turns golden brown and the filling sets, which should take around 25 to 35 minutes.
