Easy blackberry cobbler: Fresh berries baked in sweet batter, perfect with vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 2 cups boiling water
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Let it sit for a moment.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together 1 cup of sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in the flour mixture and milk, alternating between the two, until no large lumps remain. Pour the batter into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Top the batter with a layer of fresh blackberries and generously sprinkle the remaining cup of sugar before pouring boiling water over everything.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes until the batter sets and the berries are tender.
