Delicious and easy waffles made with self-rising flour for a quick and tasty treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 5 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 2.75 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 cups warm milk
  • 2 egg whites
Instructions:
  • Combine egg yolks and sugar in a large bowl, then mix in vanilla extract, butter, and salt. Gradually incorporate flour and milk, alternating between the two until well combined.
  • Whisk egg whites in a separate bowl until soft peaks form, then gently fold them into the batter. Allow the mixture to rest for 40 minutes.
  • Grease hot waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour batter onto iron. Cook until golden brown and fluffy.
