Elevate canned pork and beans with a savory blend of bacon, mustard, onion, and Worcestershire sauce for a delicious baked beans shortcut.
Ingredients:
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 (16 ounce) can pork and beans
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, flipping occasionally, until golden brown all over, approximately 10 minutes. Transfer the crispy bacon to paper towels to drain.
  • Mix together pork and beans, onion, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard in a 2-quart casserole dish. Crumble drained bacon and fold into the mixture. Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Cook in a warm oven for 1 1/2 hours.
