Impress Dad with a delicious breakfast casserole full of sausage, hash browns, biscuits, and eggs. Kid-friendly and simple to make!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package bulk pork sausage
  • 3 cups frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1 (16 ounce) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough (such as Pillsbury Grands!®)
  • 1.5 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 5 eggs
  • 0.25 cup milk, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage and cook, stirring occasionally, until it's crumbly, evenly browned, and no longer pink, around 5 minutes. Drain any excess grease. Mix in the hash brown potatoes and continue to cook and stir until they are nicely browned, around 5 more minutes.
  • Cover the baking dish with a layer of halved buttermilk biscuits. Spread the sausage and hash brown mixture evenly on top, followed by a sprinkle of Mexican cheese. Whisk eggs and milk together, then pour over the cheese.
  • Bake in the oven until eggs are cooked through, approximately 25 minutes.
