Crunchy pita bread bites mixed with romaine, green onions, cucumber, tomatoes, and zesty Middle Eastern dressing - a vibrant fatoosh salad!
Ingredients:
2pita breads
8leavesromaine lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
2green onions, chopped
1cucumber, chopped
3tomatoes, cut into wedges
0.25 cupchoppedfresh parsley
1clovegarlic, peeled and chopped
2tablespoons sumac powder
0.25 teaspoongroundblack pepper
0.25 cupchoppedfresh mint leaves
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for perfect baking results.
Bake pitas in the preheated oven for 5 to 10 minutes until crispy. Break into bite-sized pieces after removing from oven.
Combine crisp toasted pita, crunchy romaine lettuce, zesty green onions, refreshing cucumber, and juicy tomatoes in a large bowl. Blend well.
Combine parsley, garlic, sumac, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, and mint in a small bowl. Drizzle over pita mixture right before serving and gently mix to combine.
