Hearty vegetable and herb fisherman's soup.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds cod fillets, cubed
  • 1 (16 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes, mashed
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar clam juice
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 0.5 cup chopped celery
  • 0.5 cup chopped carrots
  • 0.5 cup dry white wine
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 0.33333334326744 cup light cream
Instructions:
  • Combine cod, tomatoes, clam juice, onion, celery, carrots, wine, parsley, rosemary, and salt in a slow cooker. Cook covered on Low for 7 to 8 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours.
  • One hour before serving, blend flour, butter, and light cream in a small bowl. Incorporate into the slow cooker until the fish mixture thickens.
