Savory rice with onion, mushrooms, and chicken bouillon - a delicious side for every meal.
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 0.25 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1.3333333730698 cups water
  • 0.66666668653488 cup white rice
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté mushrooms, bell pepper, and onion until tender. Add water, rice, bouillon, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Bring to a boil, then cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 14 to 16 minutes.
