Toss together crisp spinach with bacon, eggs, water chestnuts, and a sweet tangy dressing.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.33333334326744 cup ketchup
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 5 slices bacon
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pound fresh spinach - rinsed, dried and torn into bite size pieces
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
Instructions:
  • Blend sugar, vinegar, oil, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and onion in a food processor until smooth. Reserve for later.
  • In a large, deep skillet, sizzle the bacon over medium-high heat until perfectly browned. Drain, crumble, and set aside.
  • Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then let the eggs sit in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove, cool, peel, and chop.
  • Combine spinach, water chestnuts, crispy bacon, and hard-boiled eggs in a large bowl. Drizzle with dressing before serving.
